TRINA GREENE  sculpture 

Commemorating a mass burial ground of paupers where the Poorhouse once stood, this life -sized sculpture was installed 2018 at the Ulster County Fairgrounds in New Paltz, NY.

An aging woman, protectively draws a thin shawl close. Her other arm is extended as if to ward off an uncertain fate. Her features blur and her shawl becomes a shroud with butterflies and dragonflies on it, signifying the potter’s field in which she will be buried.
